September in the Library
- September 2: No school = Labor Day
- September 3-5: Mrs. Heath will introduce SORA, the on-line reading program, to the 6th LA classes.
- September 9-12: Mrs. Leany will review SORA - the on-line reading program, and KOHA - the library's book catalog, to the 7th LA classes. Classes will also watch a Scholastic Book Fair author/book video
- September 17-19: Mrs. Heath will share the Scholastic Book Fair author/book video with the 6th LA classes.
- September 20: Book Fair Preview for teachers and possibly LA classes
- September 23-27: Scholastic Book Fair open for sales. The Fair will be open before, during, and after school all week; it will also be open during the Thursday - September 26th Parent-Teacher Conferences.
August in the Library
- August 12: Library opens for before-school games
- August 19: Student check-outs begin
- August 20-22: Mrs. Heath introduces the 6th grade LA classes to the library
- August 27-29: Mrs. Leany reviews library procedures with the 7th LA classes
- August 30: Beehive nominees are available for check-out
